To the weary one,

To the weary one,

The tired one,

The one on the verge of burnout,

The one who feels stagnant,

I see you. I understand. You’re not alone.

I want to share a few reminders to encourage and strengthen you in this season.

  • Don’t miss what God is doing and teaching you right now, it’s not wasted. Be faithful where you are now, it’s all preparation for where He’s taking you. And remember, a lot of things in your life right now are previous answered prayers, He is faithful.
  • God is not holding out on you. Don’t look at others and compare timelines, you don’t know what they’ve been through to get where they are. Their calling is also different than yours. He doesn’t make two people exactly the same, with the exact same calling… you are so special that you can’t try and copy someone else, you’d be hindering the call on your life! God wants better for you than you want for yourself, He does not withhold any good thing from you! He sets us up for success, not failure. He will not let you fall flat on your face. Perhaps there are still things you need to learn, things He’s moving around to open the right doors, people that He is setting up to put in your path…He NEVER stops working.

– For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD bestows grace and favor and honor; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. -Psalm 84:11 (AMP)

  • Don’t rush God. Ecclesiastes 3:11 (AMP) says “He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in it’s time. He has the BEST planned for you (read Ephesians 3:20) and sees what we don’t see (Isaiah 55:9). If we had what we wanted, when we wanted it, it’d be a disaster (can I get an AMEN haha). But, when you surrender and align yourself to His will, way, and time, you’ll have the “aha” moment…you know when you’re just like “OHH, that’s why that happened the way it did”, those are the best, and you’ll see the exceedingly and abundantly.
  • Jesus has to be your EVERYTHING. In Him you have everything, He is everything. I love the next portion of this verse “…He has also planed eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]…” The love, purpose, rest, whatever you’re seeking will only be truly, to the fullness, found in Him and Him alone. I can say this because I have seen it time and time again in my own life.
  • Let go and trust. Let go of all of your pre-conceived notions, what you think it should look like and simply seek Him. He will reveal when it’s time to reveal. He will open the door when it’s time. He will move things around and work everything out, not one second early, and not one second late. Let me remind you though, in this don’t stop pray, believing, and contending for those things He has spoken and promised you. Don’t seek an answer, He is the answer. The last part of the verse says “—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end.” There you have it. Surrender your striving, exhausting yourself trying to figure it all out. It’s too good for you to even fully comprehend. Don’t allow that thing to become an idol above God (that is a whole other blog post haha), “ But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” -Matthew 6:33. He is always good and always faithful. You can trust Him.

Friend, I pray that this refreshed, strengthened, encouraged you and reminded you that you’re not alone. Spring is coming! I’m so for you and more importantly, God is for you!

Get to know me!
